A lot of weddings go for the typical wedding band who play approximately two to two and a half hours. After that Soundwave Djz take to the stage and the dance floor explodes with a musical show that keeps the dance floor bouncing all night. Some bands finish around the time the evening supper is served, others play a little after. Some take time to exit the stage, some don’t clear the stage at all. This is where part of our unique service comes in to play. We don’t put a start time on our after band set. We make sure we are ready to play as soon as the band are finished playing and we play until the time we have agreed in the planning with the bride and the venue. Most venues have a cut off time. We also have a mobile stage with us so if there is no room to set up on the stage, we can, with the permission of the venue. set up on our own mobile stage. We absolutely never, like to hear a break in the music. Even if we are only playing background music during the supper, it still retains the atmosphere and mood.
Also typically after the meal a band can take up to an hour to an hour and a half to set up so should you require some post dinner entertainment from our entertainment list (click here) we are happy to do so while the band are setting up.
